McGowan Miller Partnership are an established and well
respected firm of Chartered Surveyors operating throughout
Scotland and the North of England. The Partnership commenced
practice in June, 1990. The practice was established by Robert
J. McGowan F.R.I.C.S. M.A.P.S and David R. Miller B.Sc. F.R.I.C.S
M.A.P.S. having respectively 35 years and 28 years of experience
within the Profession. From 1998 Robert and David have been
joined in the Partnership by Stuart Callander M.R.I.C.S and
J. Cameron Graham M.R.I.C.S. who have 24 years and 21 years
experience in the profession.
McGowan Miller Partnership is primarily involved in Quantity
Surveying, Building Surveying, Project Management, Planning
Supervision and Property Valuation including services to Local
Authorities, Housing Associations, NHS, Local Enterprise Companies
and Private Clients.
Quantity Surveying contracts range from £10,000 up
to £15,000,000 through all aspects of construction including
Housing, Hospitals, Commercial and Industrial Buildings, Offices,
Games Halls and Sports Facilities, Educational Buildings,
Shopping Malls and Civil Engineering Works.
Building Surveying for Private Sector and Public Sector Clients.
Project Management with Private Commercial/Industrial Sector
Clients and Public Sector Clients.
Planning Supervision Services in accordance with the requirement
of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994.
Robert J. McGowan and David R. Miller are Members of the Association
of Planning Supervisors and are committed to the development
of Safe Working Practice throughout the Construction Industry.
Property Valuations include both Domestic and Commercial
Property for Banks, Building Societies, Solicitors, Housing
Associations and Individual Private Clients. All property
valuations are carried out in accordance with guidelines issued
in the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Manual.
The staffing level of the office at present consists of 4
Partners, with 2 Senior Surveyor, 4 Assistant Surveyors and
3 General Office Staff.
