Education Farm Featured on TV

Valentins Education Farm has recently been the focus of an episode of BBC’s Countryfile.The programme gave an insight to the impact of the ongoing development of Dumfries House Estate on the local community of East Ayrshire. The episode included presenter Matt Baker spending time at the recently completed Education Farm with local school children who were having a rare taste of farming life.

In addition, presenter Anita Rani was also on the estate and met some of the apprentices to discuss the training and development scheme that plays a pivotal role of The Prince’s Trust. The piece featured a number of projects that McGowan Miller have provided various consultancy services to The Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, including the award winning Belvedere, The Walled Garden and the ongoing “Live Build 2017” apprenticeship project.
