The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (HASAWA) is the primary piece of legislation covering occupational health and safety. The Act imposes duties on all employers and employees to manage health and safety at work.

We have been one of the leading providers of CDM Consultation Services in the local area for a number of years, and as the focus on Health and Safety and the regulations that govern it have grown and developed, so too has our Health & Safety department which offers a range of workplace training services, audits and advice.

Our Health and safety department includes a member of the Association for Project Safety, a Technical member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and holder of both General and Construction NEBOSH Certificates. McGowan Miller as a firm, are also CHAS accredited.
